The Pool Players Short Animation
Adapted from Gwendolyn Brook’s poem, We Real Cool, The Pool Players is an animated short visualizing the poem, with Brooks’ voice heard as she recites her famous classic. Created with Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

A series of short promotional web spots for Veoba, an upcoming band-management service for musicians to use as an online resource. These were created in the summer of 2009 while interning at RPM Visual Media in Chicago using Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator. JAMS Short Animation
An animation I created in Maya and After Effects. A story of the evolution of technology and how we can revive older equipment and fuse it with the new to create a fusion of something amazing. Check out the making-of video for a look at the process. Sound editing was done in GarageBand with a track by Louis Armstrong and The Advantage. I also designed and modeled the characters.
Pirates & Pills Opening Titles
This is the intro title sequence to Pirates & Pills, a film from Columbia College Chicago’s 2007 Practicum program. Working with a few others, (Scott Hanson, Ben Christie, Max Moore) we created this title intro for the film using Adobe After Effects and Photoshop, which was later submitted to Cannes International Film Festival.
12th Planet Short Animation
The fabled 12th planet returns to our galaxy in 2012, decimating our home of Earth in its disastrous path. I focused on using sound as a narrative in a quick cause-and-effect animation, and rendering believable, realistic looking planets with the help of bump mapping. Modeled with Autodesk Maya and animated in Adobe After Effects. Sound by Kris Trindl (aka BluBlockr).
FLAM Short Animation
I put this animation together in 3DS Max and Adobe After Effects… my goal was to use the cel shading material tool and to sync animation to audio successfully. Original drum beat was made in Propellerhead Reason.
Fred Productions Bump- Evolution
From the Big Bang through dinosaurs and just after the Dawn of Man comes Fred Productions; the ultimate in Post-Production Needs. Adobe After Effects and Illustrator were used here to create the animation. Music by The Books and The Beatles.
